Margaret (Peg) Kemske passed away on her birthday July 23, 2022 in the Accent Care Hospice Center of Christiana Hospital, Wilmington on her 77th birthday. Born in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of the late John (Jack) and Doris Kemske.
A native Delawarean, she attended schools in Wilmington and graduated from Brandywine High School. Then became an EEG technician and worked in local hospitals as well as for Dr. Pierre LeRoy for several years. She moved to Rehoboth and resided there for over 30 years. The beach, ocean and bay were truly a place she loved. She was an avid reader and a book collector.
She was predeceased by her good friend and companion, Dr. Elizabeth Bell, and returned to Wilmington a few years later.
She is survived by her cousin Phyllis Evans (Woody), who was like a sister to her; cousins Pat Creutzburg, Carol Miles and many more; extended family Anne Hovis, Christine Barth, Elizabeth Ruskey, Joe Piorkowski, Mike Piorkowski, Tom Piorkowski and Margie Piorkowski as well as their respective families.
Services will be private.
