Maria Elizabeth Uribe Otero, age 58, of Newport, formerly of Tenaneigo Estado de Mexico, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
Eliza enjoyed baking cookies and arts and crafts, especially stitching. She was warm and caring towards others and was extremely hard working and would always offer help to others.
Eliza is preceded in death by her father, Jesus Uribe Alvarez.
Survivors include her mother, Consuelo Otero Betancourt; brothers, Juan Uribe Otero, Alfredo Uribe Otero, Cecilio Uribe Otero and Mario Uribe Otero; sisters, Laura Uribe Otero, Aleyda Uribe Otero and Clara Uribe Otero; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at HOLY ANGELS CHURCH, 82 Possum Park Road Newark, DE 19711, where viewing will begin at 4:00 PM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to assist with the funeral expenses.
