Marian E. Eddy Bevan, 79, of Wilmington, Del., a former Delaware County, PA resident, died May 28, 2010 in Wilmington, DE.
She was born in Lackawanna County, PA. Mrs. Bevan was a graduate of the old Glen-Nor High School and the Delaware Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse at Christiana Medical Center in Newark, Del., before her retirement.
For more than 60 years, Mrs. Bevan was a member of Glenolden Congregational Church where she sang in the choir.
Survivors: Daughter, Barbara Gardner; son, William H. Bevan III; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Service: 6 p.m. Saturday, June 5th at Glenolden Congregational Church, Scott and Gardner Avenues, Glenolden, PA.
Burial will be private.
