Age 89, of Wilmington, DE., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2011. at Heartland Hospice House.
Marian was born on May 17, 1922 to the late Erma and Willis Goss in Russelville, PA. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna Wagner.
Marian retired from NVF in 1996 after 34 years of service. She was a 50 year member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, where she served on many committees.
Marian enjoyed working in the yard while her health permitted, sewing and embroidery work were her favorite pastimes.
Marian will be sadly missed by her surviving sister, Betty Ann Goss;, nieces, Kaye Zeitler (Peter)and Erma Wolpert (Thomas); nephews, J. Noel Wagner (special friend Jayne) and Jack Wagner (Mary Ann); and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 30 in the chapel at Gracelwan Memorial Park, N. DuPont Pky, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will be in the adjoining Memorial Park.
Special thanks to the staff at Heartland Hospice House for the loving care they gave Marian.
