Marjorie H. England, age 94, of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
Margie was a 1948 graduate of Conrad High School. She worked in her early years at DuPont before becoming a homemaker and then working at Avon in later years. Margie was a former member of Peniel United Methodist Church and volunteered at the VA Hospital. She enjoyed baking, cooking, visiting Delaware Park and spending time with her family.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard “Dick” G. England in 2011.
She is survived by her son, Richard W. England Sr. and his wife Elaine; grandson Richard W. England Jr. and his wife Jamie; great grandchildren, Mason and Cameran and her brother, Alvin “Jimmy” Schrader.
Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Friday, January 19 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
