Mary V. Alicea, age 96, formerly of Boothwyn, Pa, went to be with the lord on Tuesday June 14, 2022.
Madge retired from Container Research Company after many years.
Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, watching TV, shopping, and going to Crystal Beach. She also loved antiques and spoiling her grandchildren.
Madge is preceded in death by her parents, and her 4 children John Cassidy, Terence Cassidy, Kathleen Durrell and Sharon Snyder.
Madge is survived by her husband Juan; sister, Elaine Best; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 30 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis St. Newport, Delaware 19804 where visitation will begin at 1 pm.
