Jo passed away at her home in Bear on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in the presence of her family.
Jo was born and raised in Grafton, W.Va. For the past 15 years she was the office manager at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home in Newport. Jo enjoyed sewing, reading, scary movies and the beach. She wanted to be remembered as a loving mother, mom-mom, wife, loyal friend and good person.
Jo is survived by her husband of 51 years, David; sons, Michael and Daniel; grandchildren, Augusta, Austin and Amelia; her dog and companion, Dalai and other extended family.
Services will be private.
The family would appreciate contributions in Jo's memory to an animal rescue of your choice.
