Mary "Kathy" Mancari
Middletown - Kathy, age 66, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Kathy graduated from Goldey Beacom College in 1984 with Associate of Science Degree. She worked for the DuPont Company for many years before her retirement. Kathy was a very active member at Ogletown Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading and attending church. She absolutely loved animals, especially her dogs and cat.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. and Louise E. McCabe.
Survivors include her sister, Susan Renshaw; her brother, Robert McCabe Jr; her step grandfather, Harlon Talley; her dogs, Abby and Shelby and her cat, Missy; her niece, Tricia Renshaw (Brian); nephew Gary Renshaw (Christi); niece, Michelle Whalen and several great nieces and great nephew.
Funeral services will be 12 noon on Wednesday, March 10 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park. Masks and distancing will be required along with a capacity limit in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to House of Hope Animal Rescue, PO Box 430 North East, MD 21901.
