Mary went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Mary was a 1965 graduate of Conrad High School. "Miss Mary" worked as a teachers aide in the Red Clay School District for over 17 years until retiring in 2010. She was very active in the PTA and enjoyed sewing, reading and embroidery.
Mary is survived by her children, Mike (Whitney), Matt (Mary) and Morgan (Aaron); sister, Charlotte (Delane); grandson, Michael; nephew, Shane; several cousins and her best friend in the world, Bill.
Visitation will be be from 9 AM until 10 AM on Tuesday, April 11 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to the North Shore Animal League at www.animalleague.org.
