The Lord called Mary Ruth home on Friday, December 23, 2011, at the age of 80 from her home in Wilmington.
Mary Ruth was a member of the Homemaker's Club and volunteered at Richardson Park CAP.She enjoyed sewing and crafts.
Mary Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob R. Stoner in 2003; her sisters, Dolly Baumgardner and Betty Royer. Survivors include her children, Cheryl Hayes(Bob);Jacob Stoner(Robin);Helene Woolard(Kevin);and Michael Stoner; her sisters and brothers, Anna Mae Gilliam; Sonny Baumgardner(Rose); Alberta Frampton(George);and Harry Baumgardner(Linda);and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 am, Wednesday, December 28th, in the chapel in Gracelawn Memorial Park, North Dupont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10 am.
The family suggests contributions in Mary Ruth's memory to the Food Bank of Delaware, 14 Garfield Way, Newark, DE 19713.
