Maryann Bacon, age 65, of Wilmington, formerly of Luzerne County, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
Grammy worked as a bus driver for over 20 years, most recently working for T&D Bus Company, and then managed the Christmas Tree Shop for several years. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed traveling to different racetracks to see races. Her favorite driver was Kyle Busch. Grammy loved spending time with her family.
Grammy was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanore and Theodore Wisneski.
Survivors include her daughter, Michelle N. Roberts (Ronald); sisters, Christine Drain (Tommy) and Beth Willis (Billy); brother, Theodore Wisneski Jr (Charlene); grandchildren, Brandon Crossan, Aahron Jost, Allyson Sheesley (Braedon), Courtney Roberts, Annemarie Roberts, Stacy Roberts and Brittany Roberts; great granddaughter, Rylie Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 10 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be private. The family would like this to be a very casual and comfortable celebration. Grammy would have liked everyone to be relaxed and have fun.
