Maryanne Keller, age 84, passed away on 1/27/25.
Maryanne resided in Wilmington, De the past 20 years. She formally spent much of her life in Miami Florida, living as a “golden girl" with her mother and sister!
Maryanne at one time owned a small boutique named “Worth Repeating" until she moved to Florida where she became a Nanny for many years.
Maryanne was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 49 years, she often could be heard saying one day at a time with a smile on her face. She was very proud of her sobriety and guarded it fiercely.
Maryanne’s greatest love, her son, Kevin Keller, passed away in 1981. She longed for the days she spent with her son and her family knows he was the first person to greet her in heaven.
Maryanne can be best described as spunky, feisty, hilarious, compassionate, loving and generous. Whenever there was an occasion for gift giving, you would see her on the floor watching each present be opened wanting to know what was in each gift. She truly enjoyed watching the joy in every person.
Maryanne was a passionate cat mom, but also loved any animal you placed in front of her, she even sang to geckos!
Maryanne enjoyed spending Fridays at the salon, the Phillies(even though she needed to ask a ton of questions)the EAGLES(go birds! Again questions), watching endless reruns of Friends and spending as much time with her granddaughters, great granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
Maryanne is survived by her best friend and soulmate, her sister Peggy Lavaique. Her two grandchildren Tara Hofmann(Timmy) and Katrina Buckreis(Steve). She was also a Gigi to Alyssa, Lily and Kieva. And aunt to Franci(Paul) and Katie(Adam) and adored her great nephews Ethan, Frankie and CJ.
Along with her son Maryanne was also greeted lovingly by her mother Julia and baby brother Arthur and her beloved milk man daddy Arthur, who tragically left this earth in 1959.
There will be no service at this time.
