Melvin served in the US Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by h is daughter, Yvette M. Gray in 2001.
Melvin is survived by his wife, Lee Gray of DE; children, Darrell Baskin of VA; Shawn Gray of DE;Trina Baskin and Yvonne Baskin both of NY; Melvin Stevenson and Nicole Gray both of DE; brothers, Robert of NY; Henry of SC and Lawrence of NY; many grandchildren and devoted friend, Melissa Stevenson of DE.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Friday, May 18th at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE where visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
