Age 92, of Newport, DE, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2009.
Mildred retired from Sears after 18 years in the Accounting Department.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family, both at home and her cottage on the Chester River.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1993, her granddaughter, Dawn DeStephano and great granddaughter, Stephanie Rew. She is survived by her sons, Ronald and his wife Barbara, James and David, all of Wilmington; her daughters, Doris Bailey of Wilmington, Ester Rew of Harrington and Linda Williams of Dover; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, March 27th, in the Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont Hwy., New Castle, where visitation will begin at 1pm. Burial will follow in the adjoining Memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions in Mildred's memory to the Heartland Hospice House, 5661 Ochletree Lane, Wilmington, DE 19808.
