Nedwin Minnich

Nedwin L. Minnich, age 91, of Wilmington fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, August 1, 2022.

Ned was born in Locust Gap, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Mt. Carmel Township High School where he was
a standout basketball player and captain of his team. Ned was an Army veteran who was employed for 38 years as
an autoworker for General Motors in Wilmington, Delaware before retiring in 1993. He was a lifetime member of
St. Michael’s Orthodox Church where he served on the Parish Council. Ned enjoyed watching sports and was a
devoted Phillies and Eagles fan. One of his favorite pastimes was playing Solitaire card games on his computer.

Nedwin is preceded in death by his wife Pearl, daughter Sandra Ann Minnich, son Joseph Robert Minnich, and sister Dorothy Sell.

Nedwin is survived by children Mike Minnich (Kathy), Mary Minnich, and Kevin Minnich (Laura); grandchildren
Sarah, Jeremy, Jen, Christine, Joe, Matt, Kevin, Kenzi, Ria, Regan, and five great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday August 13, 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox
Church, 2300 W. Huntington Dr., Wilmington, where visitation will begin at 9 AM. Burial will immediately follow
at All Saints Cemetery.
