Patricia Lee Barkley, age 82, of Newark, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at home in the presence of her family.
Pat was born in Durbin, West Virginia and raised in Staunton, Virginia. She was a homemaker. Pat enjoyed watching TV, especially The Waltons. She loved “Extra” bubble gum, getting her hair and nails done and anything that sparkled, especially her sequin headbands. Pat also loved horseback riding, being with her family and decorating.
Pat was preceded in death by her grandson, JJ Jones; son, Dale Clendenning and great grandson, Vincent.
Survivors include her sons, William “Jerry” Clendenning and David Wayne Clendenning Sr (Cindy); her daughters, Delsie Virginia Lines (Randy) and Brenda Lee Inglis (Robert); her sister, JeAnnita Kelly; grandchildren Christa (Ralph), Dale jr. (Gwen), Amanda, Josh (Chrissy), Jessie (Barrett), Davey (Adele), Shawna and Jeannie (Jude); and great grandchildren Logan, Maddie, Ryan, Aiden and Caden.
Services will be held at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, on Tuesday April 12, 2022 at 3pm with visitation beginning at 2pm. Burial will be private.
Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
