Patricia E. Bullen, age 89, of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Pat was a graduate of West Chester High School. After raising her children, Pat worked at the Post Office for 20 years before retiring. Pat will be remembered for her dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needlepoint, puzzles and sewing. She especially loved her family trips to Cape May, the Poconos and taking her grandchildren to the Theater.
Pat was preceded in death by her companion, Calvin Hargan; her sister, Barbara Echols and her parents, Eva and Charles Dooley.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Short; Brenda Haslam (Scott); Jennifer Hilbun (Victor) and Karen Fisher; grandchildren, Heather Martinez (Tony), Meghan Dawson (JP), Lindsay Clarke (Doug) and Chelsea Hilbun; her great grandchildren, Briana, Ian, Michael, Anthony, Chloe, Jonathan, Zeke, Matthew, and Jacob; great great granddaughter, Brylie; sisters, Kate Lamonica and Sharon Kwiatkowski; her special friend, Joanne Tulowitzki and her beloved dog Bill.
At Pat’s request there will be no services.
The family would like to thank Pat's hospice nurses who gave her exceptional care, Alyssa Vaccaro, Paula Gallimore and Liza Griffith.
