Patricia Pollard

Pat passed away on Thursday, May 21,2015. Pat was a homemaker and also was the Bookkeeper for Pollard's Pharmacy. Later she worked as a guide at the Historical Society of Delaware until 1987 and at Heart and Home for about 20 years until 2010. Pat was a 1946 graduate of St. Peter's High School in New Castle and attended Alma Moore College in Wilmington. Pat was a member of Resurrection Parish as well as Grace Episcopal Church.

Pat was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry J. Mischler and Donald R. Mischler. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John W. Pollard; her children, Terry W. Hicks (Suzanne) of Winchester, VA, Linda P. Whiteside of Newark, DE, John Pollard of Elkton, MD and David Pollard of Georgetown, DE; sister, Frances A. Shenberger of Clayville, NY; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be offered at 7pm on Wednesday, May 27 at Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Drive where visitation will begin at 6pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Pat's memory to either Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Drive, Wilmington, De 19808 or Grace Episcopal Church 4900 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803.
