Patricia Woerner

Age 74, of Bear, DE, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 7, 2008. Pat was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, in Bear, where she was active with the Bereavement Committee and worked in the Outreach Office. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School with the class of 1951 and a nurse's aid at Little Sisters of the Poor for 18 years, before retiring in 1998.
Pat was the daughter of the late, Mike and Elizabeth Burns and was also preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Leonard D.C. Woerner in 1994 and her sister Kathleen Jarrell. Pat is survived by her sons, Leonard & his wife Tina of Bear; Michael & his wife Shirley of Newark; Jerry & his wife Judy of Middletown; Richard & his wife Betty of Newark; Jeff & his wife Trina of Maryland and Francis & his wife
Iliana of Bear; her brother, Robert Burns of Milton; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Jones of New Castle and Marie Tabasso of Bear;16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 pm, Friday, January 11, 2008, at St.Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bear, where visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Rd., Bear. Visitation will also be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday,
January 10th at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE.
