Patricia Ann Wood, age 72, of Bear, formerly of New Castle, went to be with the lord, as god needed an angel and stopped to pick the best on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Pat worked various occupations in New Castle, including her last position at Cumberland Farms.
She was a beloved member of the Rose Hill Community Center.
She enjoyed pampering herself, the luxurious things in life, and enjoying life to the fullest with her family and pets.
She was an avid animal lover, and provided a loving home for many animals throughout her life.
She also enjoyed spending time at the beach, as the ocean waves calmed her soul.
Pat is survived by her loving husband Dale Wood; her children: Patricia Martin (Corey), Michael Curley (Stephanie), Christine Deighan (Brian), and Amy Curley (Matthieu), and her many grandchildren: Brendon, Kristy, Preston, Katelyn, and Kendel Martin, Bret, Wyatt, and Emily Curley, Cheyenne, Mason, and Ceirra Deighan
Funeral services will be at 12:30pm on Wednesday, February 16 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11:30am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
