Paul Edward Ceselsky, of Newport, formerly of Baltimore and Greensboro, MD passed away, on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Compassionate Care at St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE.
Paul was a veteran of the US Air Force and a garage manager with the Navy Exchange Service Command at Yokosuka US Navy Base in Japan for 27 years, prior to retirement in 1989. During his military career, he was awarded the Good Conduct Metal, twice, the Air Force Longevity Service Award and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal. While in Japan he was also a part-time dance instructor and loved teaching dance. Paul was also an actor within the Japanese entertainment industry. In retirement, he was a safety driving instructor for AARP and a scuba diving instructor locally in Delaware. Hobbies included building models and flying small, motorized airplanes.
Survivors include his wife of 25 plus years, Seiko; his sons, Bill Umebashi (Makiko); Tony Ceselsky and Mike Ceselsky (Pamela); his daughters, Maria Harmon, Theresa Kuwahara (Shigeaki) and Holly Ceselsky; 14 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter, Ilene Blossom Ceselsky.
