Age 52, of Newark, DE, passed away on, Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in the presence of his family.
Paul attended Dickinson High School and was employed by the McKean School in the Red Clay School District for 17 years. He enjoyed fishing with his friends at Beck's Pond and spending time with his best friends, Nate, Dave and his dog Molly.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn M. and James L. Martin, Sr. Survivors include his brothers and sisters, James (Jr.) and his wife Joanne of Tennessee; David and his wife Sharon of Bear; Maryann Martin of Glasgow; Billy of Stanton; and Patricia McCrea and husband John of Newark; and nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Ricky, Mary, Kristy, and John Michael.
Funeral services will be 11 am, Friday, May 22, at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St.. Newport, DE, where visitation will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow in Sharon Hills Cemetery, Dover, DE.
The family suggests contributions in Paul's memory to Heartland Hospice, 256 Chapman Rd., Ste. 102, Newark, DE 19702.
