Age 91, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011.
Paul was a member of the Carpenter's Union and later worked for Hercules where he retired from in 1984. He was a WWII US Army veteran. Paul was a very loyal and active member of the VFW Post 2907 and the American Legion Post 66 . He was a member of Peniel United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
Paul was the last of 11 children of the late Charles and Emma Murphy. Survivors include his wife, of 65 years, Thelma "Peg" Murphy; his son, David P. Murphy of Arlington, Mass; his daughter, Leslee A. Craig of Wilmington, DE; his 3 grandsons and his 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11 AM on Monday, February 7th, at Peniel UMC, where visitation will begin at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
