Paula Mishelle Alcantara, age 5, of Newark, formerly of New York City, transitioned on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
Mishelle enjoyed her Bayada Therapist (Megan) and her nurse Yassah. She loved watching Disney movies, her colorful nightlights, plush toys and cat headband. Mishelle especially loved spending time with her family.
Mishelle is survived by her parents, Victor Alcantara and Paola Maria; her brothers, Liam Alcantara and Aaron Alcantara; her grandparents, Micaela Alcantara and Leobardo Maria; her uncle, David Garcia (Andrea Galindo) and aunt, Nayeli Maria.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, November 30 in the chapel at St. John-Holy Angels Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE 19711. Burial will be private.
