Phillip P. Sakowski, age 69, of Wilmington, De passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Hospital.
Phillip was a self-employed roofer in the Wilmington area for many years. He enjoyed crafting and playing cards especially pinochle and billiards. He had previously attended the Clarence Fraim Club in Elsmere.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley P and Anna F. Sabbato Sakowski; his siblings, Barbara Ann Sakowski, David Sakowski and Joanna Brown. Phillip is survived by his brothers, Stanley (Clara) Sakowski and John Sakowski; his sisters, Phyllis (John) Munce, Marianne (Remo) Sakowski, Kathleen Gravell and Ann Cameron.
At the request of the family, all services will be private.
