Rachel Phelps Justis

Age 95, of Christiana, DE, passed away on, Monday, May 10, 2010.

Rachel was primarily a homemaker, although she helped with several of the family businesses. She was an active lifetime member of Christiana Presbyterian Church. Rachel graduated with honors from the University of Delaware.

Rachel was the last survivor of 8 children of the late Henry and Clara Phelps. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Cedrick D. Justis in 2009; and by 2 sons, Frederick and Eric. Survivors include her son, Roderick S. Justis of Christiana; granddaughters, Leah Justis, Heath and Pamela Justis; 2 great granddaughters, Violet and Iris Heath and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 am, Saturday, May 15th, at Christiana Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
