Ralph S. Heaps Sr., age 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 19, 2024.
Born in Boothwyn, PA., Ralph served our country in the National Guard and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a skilled Locksmith that could repair just about anything.
Along with being a Dad, he loved boating on the Maryland rivers. Piloting small planes, riding motorcycles and going to sprint cars races were just a few of his favorite pastimes. Listening & playing bluegrass music on his banjo brought him great joy. In his senior years traveling to spend time with his friends in Germany was a great adventure he enjoyed.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Heaps; siblings, Donald Heaps, Franklin Heaps, George Heaps, and Alfred Heaps.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Figurelle; sister in law, Jessie Heaps; former spouse, Dorothy Goad; three children, Beatrice England (Howard), Ralph Heaps Jr., and Celeste Young (John); four grandchildren, Katie, Kaylyn, John and Bradley; and six great grandchildren.
