Age 93 of Wilmington, DE died Sunday, July 4, 2010.

Buss was well known in the bowling community and was involved with various bowling centers in Wilmington, Puerto Rico and South Jersey for over 50 years. He was a member of the Professional Bowlers Assoc. and bowled up until the age of 92. Buss was inducted into the Wilmington Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1983.

Buss was an infantry veteran of WWII being awarded a Purple Heart in the Battle of the Bulge.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth McCallister Stewart in 2000 and a son, C. Rudy Stewart in 1996. He is survived by his children, Jerry W. Stewart and his wife Carole; Joan S. Reader and her husband Bill; R. Lee Stewart and his wife Marcia; and Jay W.Stewart and his wife Cindy; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and 6 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11am, Wednesday, July 14th at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport where visitation will begin at 10am. Burial will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE.
