Ramon F. Sanchez, Jr. “Ray” passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
Ray was born in Texas and then raised in New Castle, Delaware. He attended Faith City Church as a child. Later, after attending job corp to get his GED and his concrete training, he worked for over 20 years as a concrete finisher with Frank Deramo and Sons. Ray loved sports, especially the Phillies and the Cowboys. He was very artistic and enjoyed drawing and playing the harmonica and guitar and listening to Aerosmith.
Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Seeney; brothers, Joel Gonzalez and Pinky Gonzalez and his sister, Gloria Gonzalez.
He is survived by his children, Raymon Sanchez, Cheyenne Sanchez, Joel Sanchez and Rory Sanchez; his fiancee, Tammy Celli; brothers, Jeffrey Gonzalez and Gary Gonzalez; his sister, Marie Cleveland; his former spouse and friend, Lisa Johnson; stepdad, Clifford Dean, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Monday, September 21 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home where visitation will start at Noon.
