Raymond Buckingham Sr, 81, of Glasgow, passed away on Sunday April 3, 2022, after a strenuous battle with respiratory complications.
Raymond, also known as Eddie, was born October 7, 1941, in Wilmington, Delaware. He lived a quaint and simple life, preferring the company of his cats and birds than people. Oftentimes you would catch him outside feeding the stray cats.
Raymond was predeceased by his mother, Alberta Bernice Kelly, and stepfather Frank Kelly. Raymond was survived by his children Raymond Jr. (June), George, Birdy (Bill Redding), Kevin, Harry, Kelly, and Wayne Buckingham along with his grandchildren Christina, Joshua, Robert (Raymond Jr), Beverly (George), Erik, Amanda, Tommy, Diane (Birdy), and Dustin (Kevin) as well as 11 great grandchildren. Lifelong friends, Marlene McClaine and Vincent Dellaversano are among those who will miss him dearly.
