Our beloved husband, father, Dziadek (grandfather) and friend of many Richard Edward Bush passed away on Friday May 27, 2022 at 3:26pm surrounded by his family.

The oldest of 4 children Jason Erik was born on June 26, 1978, twin sisters Allyson and Rose Bush (preceded 1981) October 2, 1979 and Kathleen Coll (nee’ Bush) on May 10, 1983.

Richard was Vice President of National Employer’s Concepts for 40 years until closing the business in 2013. Richard spent countless years dedicating much of his time combining 2 of his passions bowling and helping teach youth. He served as the President of the Young American Bowling Association of Maryland, was on the National Board and dedicated years of Saturday mornings to coaching youth bowlers at Annapolis and the Normandy Bowling Center in Ellicott City. In 199, Richard along with Carol Brady started M.A.Y.B.E which stood for Mid Atlantic Youth Bowling Extravaganza which provided opportunities for youth bowlers across the region to regularly compete at a high level for educational scholarship opportunities.

In 2014 Richard’s health began to take a turn and it was discovered he would be in need of both a heart and kidney transplant, while those transplant opportunities never were received he was able to provide many help to others through the donation of his tissue, bone and corneas to the Gift of Life organization in Delaware.

He was a caring, kind and sometime “grumpy” husband, father, Dziadek who loved his family limitlessly. He was always there for everyone, be it to lend a hand, provide a solution to a problem or just listen.
