Richie entered into the spiritual world joining his parents, Anne and Stephen in heaven on Monday, March 28, 2016. He was a life long resident of Browntown. Richie worked at Delaware Dry Goods for 36 years and most recently at the ACME in Trolley Square for 8 years. He was a lifetime member of St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church. Richie loved spending time with his friends and family and helping people.
Richie is survived by his sisters, Joan L. Piorkowski, Nancy A. Piorkowski and Judy P. Murphy; his brother-in-law, Larry Murphy and his beloved nephews, Daniel L. Murphy and Adam M. Murphy.
Memorial Services will be 4 PM on Saturday, April 2 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport where visitation will begin at 3 PM. Burial will be private.
