Richard Clay Schaener, age 91, a Baltimore native, passed away on December 31, 2015.
Richard was a World War II Army veteran, a Baltimore City firefighter, and American Legion member. He was an avid photographer and airplane buff and loved the Ravens.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria and his daughter, Jane.
He is survived by his son, Richard (Audrey) of Newark, DE ; step son, Don Miller (Debbie); step daughter, Cheryl Barrett (Kevin), both of Baltimore; brother, Raymond of Berryville, VA, sister, Antoinette Meyers of Baltimore; grandchildren, Richard II, Robert, Jake, Marty, Lindsay, and Chrissy; Great Grandchildren, Jamier, Nichet, Niada, Naomi, Kari London, Evan, Elinor, Leroy, Brandon and Anastatia; and nephews, Walter and Nathan (Natashia) and niece, Pam (Bill).
Burial Services with military honors will be at the Maryland Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road Crownsville, MD 21032 on Day, January Date, 2016 at 1:45.
