Robert L. Adams, age 73 of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013. He was an active member of St. James Episcopal Church in Newport and an avid Phillies fan.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth "Sara" Adams in 2012. Survivors include his daughters, Robin Dunnigan and her husband, Michael and Elizabeth Adams; his sister, Mildred Claudio; 2 grandchildren, Michael Passwaters and Crystal Passwaters; 1 great granddaughter, Jessica Dunnigan; and 1 great great granddaughter, Racquel Dunnigan.
Services will be Thursday, October 24th at 7 pm at St. James Episcopal Church, 2 S. Augustine St. in Newport. Interment will be private.
The family requests donations to Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE 19804, to assist with funeral expenses.
