In Loving Memory of Robert “Bob” Rehbach Jr

It is with great sadness that we share the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Bob, who is now at peace and free from his struggles.

Bob was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, and spent many summers as a child in Delaware visiting his mother. As an adult, he relocated to Delaware, where he made his home. A hardworking and dedicated provider, Bob took over the operations of Distribution Marketing of Delaware, Inc. following the passing of his father-in-law in 1994. Through his vision and perseverance, he grew and expanded the company over the years.

Above all, Bob loved his children deeply and took immense pride in their achievements. Whether cheering them on at sporting events, school activities, or cheerleading competitions, his unwavering support was a testament to his boundless love. His cherished dog, Tessa, was also an integral part of his family for as long as she could be by his side.

Bob’s passion for vehicles was unmatched. Over the years, he meticulously cared for his collection, which included Jeeps, motorcycles, and a Mustang, among others. He enjoyed attending local car shows and shared special memories with his son at the annual Jeep rally in Butler, PA.

Bob’s family had countless moments of joy from their adventures together. They made so many memories at Disney World, along with white-water rafting, hiking, camping, skiing, shooting, horseback riding, gator wrestling, zip-lining, swimming with dolphins, exploring amusement parks, braving haunted houses and so many other things. Summer weekends were often spent in Lewes, Delaware, where they took the Jeeps and “fished” at Cape Henlopen State Park’s drive-on beach. At home, Bob took pride in perfectly maintaining his yard and could often be found relaxing poolside after his work was done.

Bob is survived by his three children, Kristen (Joseph), Nicole, and Rob, whom he adored and could not have been prouder of; his former spouse Cindy, who always wanted the best for him, and his first grandson, Bennett, born in 2024.

In accordance with his family’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held at a later date.

Donations in Bob’s memory can be made to Hope on Deck or atTAck Addiction Delaware, both grassroots organizations supporting those in need. Information for these charities can be found online.
