Age 52, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at home in the presence of his loved ones.
Bob worked at Citi for the past 10 years and previously with Boeing for 10 years. He was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and enjoyed surf fishing.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Robert Thompson and is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jo-Ann; his brother William C. Thompson; and other extended family.
A memorial service will be 7:00 pm, Wednesday, April 20th, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 5:30pm. Interment will be private.
The family suggests contributions in Bob's memory to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810.
