Age 63, of Stanton, DE, succumbed to a bout with Cancer on Saturday, February 16, 2008.
Ron most recently worked as a bus driver for DART's Paratransit. He was a member of the Lenni AC in Lenni, PA. Ron enjoyed watching car racing, especially NASCAR. He collected and restored antique cars.
Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ella M. Cook; children, Bonnie Theriault and her husband John of Maine, Ronald L. Cook Jr. of Stanton, DE and Connie Cook and her partner, Kristen of Suffolk, VA; brothers, Robert Cook Jr. of Laurel, DE, Carl Cook and his wife Maryanne of Aston, PA and Ralph Cook and his wife Gerry of Bethlehem, PA; 4 grandchildren, Timmy Cook, Matthew Theriault, Becky Theriault and Johnny Theriault.
Funeral services will be 1 pm, on Wednesday, February 20th, at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport where visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont HWY, New Castle.
The family suggests contributions in Ron's memory to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
