AGE: 76 • Newark

Ron passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29,2016 with his family at his side. Ron who was born in Scranton, PA served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1965 on the USS Severan. He has resided in Delaware for over 50 years.

Ron retired from M&G Convoy/Ryder after 35 years of service in 2002. He enjoyed working part-time at Newark Chrysler Jeep until again retiring. Ron spent many years coaching in Newark National's Little League. Nothing brought more joy to Ron than supporting/following his grandchildren's ice hockey games, soft ball games, volleyball games and dance recitals.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 55 years Mary Ann Schaffer Graff; his children, Ron Graff Jr. (Vicki) and Chris Graff (Amy); his four grandchildren, Adam & Emily Graff and Sarah & Jillian Graff and his little buddy Harrison; his sister, Virginia Vogel (Billy); his brothers-in-law, Harold Schaffer (Carol) and William Schaffer (Diane) and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Ron's wishes a traditional funeral will not take place at this time. A Celebration of Ron's life will be held at a later date.

Ron's family would like to thank Delaware Hospice for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to either White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church Capital Fund or Delaware Hospice.
