Ron passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017.
Ron was a truck driver for various companies, including most recently Calex in Milford, DE, since 1966. He served in the US Army and was a Mason at Armstrong Lodge #26 since 1990. He enjoyed working on cars, automatic transmissions, attending Antique car shows and doing paint and body work.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Carter; daughters, Jeanie Kubas (Ed), Sherry Garbowski and Carol Henderson; son, Ronald A. Henderson Jr.; sisters, Barbara Hickman(George), Linda Mutter; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 AM on Thursday, June 8 at, NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St.,Newport,DE where visitation will begin at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE.
The family suggests contributions, in Ron's memory, to Armstrong Lodge #26, 112 E. Market St., Newport, DE 19804.
