Ronald O. Jochen, age 65 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011.
Ron retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Carol L. Overstreet Jochen in 2005. He is survived by his children, Rosemary Bernardo and her husband John, Rhonda Stetson and her husband Tim, Daniel Jochen, Ronald Jochen and Robert Jochen; his brothers C. Edwin Jochen and David Jochen; his sister Darlene Leary; his 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am on Friday, August 5 in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont HWY, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10am. Visitation will also be Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport.
