Ronald B. Parker “Poppy”, age 74, of Claymont, formerly of Delaware County, PA, returned back home on Monday, September 25, 2023.
Poppy was a facilities employee and worked at St. Helena’s, Claymont Community Center and Ursuline High School. He enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles and his joy rides to the beach. Poppy loved Rehoboth beach especially his Thrashers fries.
Poppy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph William John Parker and Ruth I. Parker and other family.
Survivors include his life partner, Susan Parker; his children, Ronald B Parker Jr, Robert Mendenhall and Kerry Davis (Joey); grandchildren, Marisa Parker, Laney Parker, Nicholas and Joey Davis Jr; and his siblings, Ricky, Bobby, Sandy (Wayne) and Pam.
