Sarah went to join her husband on Thursday, February 20, 2014.
Sarah was a homemaker and helped her husband George at Hobbs Used Car Sales. She was a graduate of Dover High School. Sarah formerly owned race horses including her favorite "Mongo's Slippers" and she enjoyed visiting Delaware Park.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George M. Hobbs who passed away in 2003. She is survived by her sons, George Richard Hobbs and his wife Joan, and Gordon Douglas Hobbs and his wife Martha, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services and Burial were private.
The family wish to thank Compassionate Care Hospice especially Janet and the other caregivers for their wonderful care of Sarah.
Sarah requested contributions in her memory to the USO P.O.Box 96860, Washington, D.C. 20090-6860.
