Sarah passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 6, 2014. She worked many years at Alethia School and Daycare.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Smithmyer, Sr. and Larry Dillman; her sons, Donald Smithmyer, Jr. and Michael Smithmyer; and her brother Louis "Sonny" Cecelia. She is survived by her children, Lisa Taylor (Ed), Robert Smithmyer (Kim) and Mark Smithmyer; grandchildren, Thomas, Shelley, Ashley, Saralyn and Amber and many great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 3pm on Friday, September 12 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 2pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to the funeral home to assist with the expenses.
