Sarah went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the presence of her family.
Sarah enjoyed painting, knitting, rug hooking, dancing baking, cooking and family gatherings. She was a member of Peniel United Methodist Church and won two Gold Medals at the International Special Olympics at Brockport, NY in the 50 yard dash and the high jump events.
Sarah is preceeded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Blanche Ulmer; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Prosser. She survived by her son, Ricky Ulmer and his wife Christina; her parents, Richard and Beulah Ulmer; her brothers, Richard Ulmer and his wife, Susan; and Rob Ulmer and his wife, Joanne; her niece, Jessica Ulmer; and her nephews, Ryan Ulmer and Bradley Ulmer; many aunts and uncles; and several cousins.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Special Olympics Delaware, 619 South College Ave., Newark, DE 19716.
