At 9:19 AM on October 23rd, 2023 Shirley Boyer Stevens passed into God’s Kingdom. There, at the Golden Gate, she will wait for her husband Dave.
Born in Allentown, PA on May 18, 1938. She and her family soon moved to Syracuse, NY where she grew up. There she graduated from Central High School with an emphasis on secretarial skills. She was a Teacher’s Aid for special needs children and a loan processor during her working career. Shirley and Dave lived in many places including NB, CA, MS, FL SC, WY, PA and Central NY. Shirley was Love; she loved others and others loved her. She met and married her husband of 66 years David E. Stevens in a small Methodist Church. There she sang in the choir and was a leader in the Church youth group She liked to sew and made her wedding dress. Family always came first.
She leaves a Loving Family of Dave Sr., sons David Jr. wife Karen and Kenneth wife Oom. Grandchildren David C. wife Colleen and Adam wife Ashlee, Kenneth J. and Alicia, and six(6) Great Grandchildren Brittany, David B., Everly, Maren, Rhett and Adlee. She loved each and every one of her family and doted on the Great Grandchildren.
Abiding by Shirley’s wishes she will be cremated. There will no services of any kind. Please join the Family by including Shirley in your prayers and know that she loved us all.
