Shirley Fitts

Ms. Shirley “Franny” Fitts, the daughter of the late Gladys Fitts and Sam Jones was born April 18, 1938 and peacefully departed this life on August 25, 2015.
She was preceded in death by one brother; Clarence Fitts, Jr.; five sisters, Elaine Hughes, Margaret Watson, Eloise Tiller, Lorriane Fitts, and Doris Fitts (Goode); son-in-law, Tony Price, Sr.; grandson, Tony Price, Jr. and her special friend, Andre Smith (Eggie).

Franny was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School in Elkton, MD and attended Apex Beauty School in Baltimore, MD. Her passion was serving the Lord, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of Reed’s AUMP Church, in North East, MD for many years, where she served on the Stewardess Board.
Her hobbies included cooking, watching her favorite soap operas, wrestling and playing cards.

Franny last days were surrounded by her loved ones with songs and prayers. She leaves behind to cherish memories and celebrate her life; her children, Sharon K. Price, Michelle Fitts, Crayshaun Fitts, Ronald Fitts and Kim Hubbard, all of Elkton; sister, Gloria White of Elkton, MD; brother-in-law, Laws Tiller; grandchildren, Jazmen Fitts, Brandon Price, and Tiffany Brown; great grandchildren, Amyia Price, Mark Price, Aleca Price, and Josiah Sheffler; special friends, Joshua Owens, Elenor Harris, Stanley Coates, Eleanor Gaylord, and John Pattony; extended family, Franklin Griffin and Phyllis Brown as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Services will be at 11AM on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Abundant Life Worship Center, 250 Booth St, Elkton, MD 21921, where visitation will begin at 10AM. Burial will be private.
