Anteriormente trabajó en JC Penny, MBNA y BF Rich Co. y durante los últimos 7 años, trabajó en Bravo Cleaning Company. Ella asistió a Santa Catalina de Siena y las iglesias de San Pablo. Sobeida disfrutó crucigramas y rompecabezas, viajar, y mantenerse al día con sus amigos en facebook.

Sobeida was one of 14 children born to the late Teodoro and Maria Garrastegui. She attended Eastern District High School in Brooklyn, New York . She previously worked at JC Penny, MBNA and B.F. Rich Co. and for the last 7 years she worked at Bravo Cleaning Company. She attended St. Catherine of Siena and St. Paul’s churches. Sobeida enjoyed crosswords and brain teaser puzzles, traveling, and keeping up with friends on facebook.
Sobeida is survived by her husband of 26 years, Henry Rivera; sons, Juan “Johnny” Martinez (Lisa), Robinson Rivera, and Henry Rivera, Jr (Luz); daughter, Lia Valenzvela-Rivera; brothers, Wenceslao, Teodoro, and Antonio; Sisters, Maria, Elba, and Mita; 15 grandchildren and one great-grand child.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 27 at 11 AM where visitation will be from 9 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1010 W. 4th Street Wilmington, Delaware 19805. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
