Suzanne Murawsky, age 85, of Hockessin, formerly of Mountain Side, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Suzie was a secretary at Engelhard Industries and worked at Teamsters Local 575 as a secretary with her beloved husband, John. A consummate caregiver for many family members over the years and a loving mother and wife.
Suzie loved nature, gardening, bird watching, reading, drawing, playing bridge and enjoying the company of her many friends. She also particularly enjoyed spending time at her shore house at Point Pleasant Beach. She had a deep love for nature and her dogs. Full of teachings and sayings that children never forgot, a doting grandmother to all of her grandchildren. A truly kind soul, never missing an opportunity to befriend a stranger, listen to someone’s story or find positivity in the world around her.
Suzie is preceded in death by her husband, John Murawsky, and her parents, Arthur Gilbert and Vivian Bamback Gilbert.
Survivors include her daughter, Colleen Loughlin (Steve); step son, John Murawsky; and grandchildren, Molly Loughlin, Michael Murawsky, Marc Murawsky and Kerrin Murawsky.
Services will be private.
