On Sunday, December 27, 2015 God gained a wonderful angel. Tammi, age 40, of New Castle passed away at home after battling many years of sickness that not many knew about. Tammi was such a loving talkative person who tried to do everything she could for her daughter and family before she got sick and even then she still had the warmest heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Tammi is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Henry DeHoyos; her only daughter, Jessica DeHoyos; her brothers, Ivan Tucker and Lee Tucker; her mother and father in law, Henry and Sandy DeHoyos; her sister-in-law, Heather Dill; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 11 am to 12pm at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport, Delaware, 19804.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to help with the funeral expenses.
