Tech Sgt William T. Hutton, III, age 74, of New Castle, lost his long battle with cancer on Thursday, August, 4th, 2016.
Bill was a sergeant in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. After retiring, he then worked at Jamesway at New Castle Square Mall for many years then at the New Castle Walmart.
Bill graduated from Wilmington College with a degree in Accounting. He was a life member of Atterbury VFW and New Castle American Legion Post. He was a huge Baltimore Orioles and Oakland Raiders fan. Bill really enjoyed John Wayne, NASCAR and collecting military memorabilia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn Hutton.
Bill is survived by his wife of 30 years, Agnes M. Hutton; his children, Mary Topolski (Mike), Irene Hutton, Michael Fox (Marla), Daniel Haas (Melissa), and Tina Blecher; his brother, Allen Hutton (Helen); sister, Calysta Queener (Bill); eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 5:00PM on Monday, August 8, 2016 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis Street, Newport, Delaware 19804 where visitation will begin at 3:00 PM.
Burial with Military Honors will be at 11:00AM on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Bill’s memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St. 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106 or Veterans Care.
